Any suggestions on what fish to get for new set up?

I'm new at fish tanks and have done alot of research on what I can and cant have with my Ivory mystery snails.

The pet store said to put betas in with them...mistake and a half

Ive got your basic 20 gallon set up..

Ideas?

I would put some kill fish which are not mean lol or some rainbow fish they are easily maintained and are stunning.

For my 1st 20 gal tank, a few years ago, we had different Mollies, & a couple of Dwarf Angel Fish, an underwater frog & a pair of small kissing fish.  It was a nice mix, not all one type, they got along well & it was fun to watch them.  Good Luck!

I would get some male and female guppies, mollies or platys, and maybe a few cory cats! Cory cats are so great. They are fun to watch and are really playful with each other.

Angel fish.

they are tame and calming and graceful and very pretty. They are cute to watch.

Mollies are the most fun for me. I have a few in a 20 gallon tank and I'm about to get a second batch of babies. They are really easy to care for and come in so many kinds. Look at pictures of balloon mollies, they are so cute! I have Dalmatian mollies, a white molly, and a gold molly. They are all very nice looking.

glow lights neon's or cardinals there peaceful fish as long as there in groups and there are no big fish to harass them.
