I know of a great website with tons of free crochet patterns. Lots of toys, clothes, blankets, you name it!   I've been using this site for a few years and I love it. Their patterns are easy to understand.

Here are a few links for you. You should also check the public library for patterns. They usually have a lot to choose from.

You should join Ravelry. They have so many patterns on there, both free and for a fee. There is a bit of a wait to get on the site, but I believe they are allowing people to access it faster now.
