Any suggetions to save TIGERS?

Question

Tigers have started dissappearing. I think you people know the reason.If we are not alert now, it will be too late.Think that, better late than never. Start immediately and give suggetions.If possible those will be brought into action.

I absolutely agree with Gary D with regards to elimination of poaching and education. But I would like to see (may God forgive me for saying this) the poachers eliminated from the face of this Earth. Take no prisoners -- as soon as one is caught,  : tie him/her up and leave him/her in the jungle and let tigers deal with him/her ! The same should apply to the low-lives who pay the poachers to carry out these despicable acts. I have absolutely no sympathy for these scums. Ugh !!

Now that I have calmed down a little, a favourite poem called Four Little Tigers by Frank Jacobs comes to mind : I hope you like it too.

Four little tigers, sitting in a tree

One became a lady's coat ; now there are three

Three little tigers beneath the sky of blue

As all human could do is stop buying products that are made frm Tigers. This would stop poaching when there is no buyers for the products.

Secondly as my opinion, human population should nt increase drastically as hw it is now. The reason is tht, more people take up more land n this would destroy the natural habitat of this animal.

Thirdly, we should protect these animals as well as other endangered animals in order to reduce n loss the ones we have now!

Elimination of poaching and education of the public would be the two top suggestions.  Education about the wildlife, as well as education about the untruths that tiger parts would bring power or good luck to the person eating or wearing them.

training wildlife managers

equipping antipoaching teams

working with people living in or near tiger habitat to ensure that conservation measures are compatible with human development needs.

developing ecotourism programs that provide revenues for local people and conservation efforts.

working to stop international illegal trade in tiger products through enforcement assistance, education, and promotion of medicinal alternatives.

conducting tiger census and developing monitoring schemes.
