  1. i havent been one yet, but with my last prac, it was really tough.

I dont know if i will be able to get through the first few years of teaching.

May i ask how long you have been a teacher for? Which school and which subject?

  2. Not at all. Right now I am not teaching due to a move and I truly miss it. Teaching is hard work, but it is the most rewarding work in my eyes. The hardest thing is deal with all the politics of teaching. It makes it very difficult at times. I agree with other comments. Teachers need to collectively have a stronger voice concerning legislation.

As long as you have a love for learning and your future students you will love it.

  3. to me, once a teacher always a teacher AND always a student too. i remain a student & teacher throughout life - keep learning, keep growing, ...Love it!  and YA gives us that opportunity - to ask questions / seek answers / give answers / learn ....

  4. No regrets here

  5. I don't regret it but there are days I want to quit. The teaching is the easy part. It's dealing with parents and administration that makes me want to kill myself.

  6. Absolutely not. I LOVE my job.  It is a privilege to teach!

  7. I have never regretted becoming a teacher.  I believe that it is the perfect profession for me:)  I do regret how educators as a whole have lost their voice.  I wish that we, as a profession, were more proactive about the laws passed.

  8. nope

  9. I am a biology major that some how ended up teaching 4th grade.. and I love it. I never thought I would, but I really do. It's fun and fantastic. I go to work everyday knowing I will make a difference. It's tough, but rewarding.
