  1. There's hardly anything you can do in today's society with no reading skills--unless you're willing to take minimum wage dead-end jobs. And you are asking for something for nothing--a school, no less, that will educate illiterates. You need to change your attitude by adding a little humility. How can you read this answer, or are you simply afraid?

Nearly every city has a department of social services that will refer you to a school to put you into control of reading and even writing. Community colleges also offer remedial writing courses. Yes, it's a brave thing to do, but the rewards are tremendous. And best of all, most of this stuff is free.

Trust me, I know--I had to take remedial math my first year, but it worked out fine. The second chapter of my thesis dealt with Einstein and The Theory of Relativity. And now in retirement I own and run a business that sells unique furniture to universities.

  2. The curriclum of school requires a reading class. This will help you read the instructions to operate and repair items. This is a very important part of your education. The best of luck to you.

  3. No, absolutely none.

    Better learn to read.

I re-itterrate, no there are no colleges, or tech schools that do not require reading. If it hurts his head to read, then there is something wrong with his eyes, he needs to see the eye doctor, and if he can't find anything wrong, a neurologist.

The other option is to learn brail and study at a school for the blind.
