  1. I'm not a parent yet, but in a few months I will be.

My boyfriend, 17, and I, 16, have been best friends since Junior High. We began dating the summer before our freshman year.

We both lost our virginity a few months after my 16 birthday, low and behold I got pregnant. I was on the pill and we used a condom. It was a horrifying experience when I found out. My boyfriend told me that it was my decision and he would support me no matter what. I'm almost 6 months pregnant with twins. I was thinking adoption, but when I felt the babies kick for the first time, I gave that thought up. My boyfriend and I wont get married just because I'm pregnant, but when we are older we may tie the knot.

Money will always be tight. My boyfriend works two jobs. I had to quit mine. I told him that we would make it without him working two jobs, but he says he wants to.

Being a parent at a young age makes you grow up fast. No more hanging out with friends, no going to the mall or to the movies. Your baby is you number one priority. Your baby is depending on you to survive.

Knowing how my life is changing, I would change it for anything in the world.

  2. I'm 15 and have a 1 year old daughter, Rachel.

She's the best mistake I ever made.

Her mother left after about two months; she couldn't handle it.

I'm not going to lie; it's going to be tough. But DON'T leave your kid. That's the last thing that that baby wants.

I do have a job, and sure, my money is really tight, but I manage to get by. My parents were pissed at first, but once they got over it they were there for us, and once Rachel's mother left, they were there for me.

My daughter is my world, and I wouldn't trade my life for the world.

  3. Im 19 and I have 3 kids

I had my first daughter Ava when I was 15

it was hard then but my boyfriend was and still is extreamly supportive

and i had our twin 3 weeks ago Caleb & Taylor and having 3 kids compared to 1 is a lot harder but now we are doing well with money and we have our own appartment but being a teen parent is hard but i woulden't trade it for the world.

  4. im 18 and have a 5 month son i enjoy every moment with him and so does his dad we both work and go to college we handle things ours selfs living with our parents they help once and a whike but we dont like to depend on them cuz its our child. it may be hard trying to balance this adult life at this age but trust me many of us make it.we both graduated and now off to college  our son is in daycare we work evry other nite and take turns watching him. it works you just have to be patient i learn that in the long run. good luck and god bless
