  1. just tell her to relax, high school is actually really fun tell her to stay away from girls that she knows that would start  drama right away. if she doesn't start any trouble then nothing would happen to her.

  2. They won't bother her if  she doesn't mess with them. And she'll find other girls who will be nervous also, and she'll start friendships. Her high school experience will be what she makes it. If she decides she is going to hate it and be afraid all the time, that's how it will be. But if she tries to get out there and make friends, she'll have a ball. I was so scared my freshman year and it wasn't the greatest because I let people get to me and I had low self esteem but sophomore year, I decided to stick up for myself more. I had more friends by then also, so we were all supporting each other and having fun. Tell her not to worry, it's not as bad as she thinks!

  3. OH MY GOODNESS!! I cant blame your daughter either! I am also very afraid to start high school this September myself. I am actually pretty nervous. I just don't know how to walk through that huge school! I don't even know how I am gonna find my way through. And worst of all, my brother is gonna be there! But I am not really afraid of the whole 'girls starting with me' that doesn't go on in our school. But I am really NOT looking forward to high school, because there are gonna be people 3 grade ahead of me, BIG people!! Just looking at them is gonna make me feel bad, and walking alone in the halls is another disturbance. I have plenty of friends but I don't know if they all are gonna be in any of my classes (or in the halls haha). But overall, I wanna stay in Middle School right now, and I am the one who is really scared.

Good luck to your daughter though, I hope she gets through this. I understand how if she doesn't start with them they still may start with HER. But there is always a way, and for us girls what works best is the magic of ignorance, it goes something like: "LAUGH OUT LOUD!!, you actually think I am gonna waste my time listening to YOU! If you think so, you must be nuts!" (And then just walk away 'bla blaing' every other thing the mean girl says.) That is the perfect way to avoid trouble. IT DOES WORK TRUST ME!!

Those were all the reasons why I AM afraid of High School D=

  5. if she doesnt start anything with them they wont start anything with her trust me

and no im not scared, its only life

  6. I really am nervous about heading to highschool. I've heard stories that it had been the worst years of your life. I've heard that it's an enjoyable experience. I'm worried about peer pressure, and who the people are, and if they'll embarrass me or not. I am nervous about dropping friends, finding cliques, and leaving the comfort of middle school. I know it's going to be tough, and I'm extremely nervous.

  7. i was worried last year when i started, but i learned if you don't bother other people, they won't bother you. you just have to find your circle of friends and stick with them.
