  1. Sorry to hear that because, when we go on ours in November again. My little cousin will have all types of people to mingle with. Then again a lot of people do not believe in pulling the children out of school just for a cruise.

  2. In the Berlitz guide book "Ocean Cruising" & Cruise Ships"

chapter on The 7 Big Cruise Lines, the comment is made:

"Princess Cruises is good for its consistent product delivery, although the ships have decor that is rather bland, and passengers of an upper age range"

So it could be that Sea Princess is one which just didn't cater so well for teenagers - some of the Princess ships don't while others are organised around kids.

The description of the cruisine doesn't sound too flattering "generous portions, the food and its presentation are somewhat disappointing and lack taste.  Fish is often disguised by crumb or batter coating, the selection of fresh green vegetables is limited.  Meats are of a decent quality  although often disguised with gravy-based sauces, deserts are just so-so"

It pays to do your homework before you book and make sure you've chosen the right cruise line to suit your needs.
