Any test taking tips from people who have taken the 8th grade N.Y.S. foreign language proficiency exam?

I have to take the 8th grade N.Y.S. foreign language proficiency exam for spanish next week. Any test takeing tips from people who have taken it in the last couple of years? p.s. im not so good at spanish

Ah, the Proficiency. I just took my spoken part over the course of a few weeks, and I am taking my written one next week. I would study as much as possible, maybe make flash cards, and read through your notes and books. If your teacher has given you a review packet, like mine did (of an old proficiency), then work on that.
