  1. I didn't see the Court TV documentary. Great Article! I think it was an overdose. He had a past history of doing drugs and alcohol. He had an unborn daughter when he commited suicide which is sad.

  2. no did not see court t.v.

but, antley, hanson, and mike hole, all had drug problems,

and ended up giving the fans S****y rides and it cost them

their lives....some people aren't playing around.....

i just hope pat v. gets his act together, so he can give gomez

a run for the riding title in 2008....the rest of the jockeys

are sober, but ride like they are on something!!!!!

  3. I didn't see it, but I don't think it was an "accidental overdose." I think someone else had a hand in it.

  4. I'm sorry to say I didn't see the program, I wish I had known about it.

I have never believed that it  was an an "accidental"overdose, and I know a lot of other people who stood up and said the same. He had a LOT of support in his corner at that time.

Here is a good article that covers all of what really happened UP UNTIL he was discovered dead in his home.  http://horseracing.about.com/od/jockeys/...

And here is a good article about how he was found:http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a-...

With all the blood spatter found in his home, I have never read or heard of a logical explanation for  this to be there.

  5. no... i don't think it was an accidental overdose.  The circumstances were certainly suspicious.  I know there was some evidence of accidental overdose, but there was also some evidence that it was not an accidental overdose.  I think it was wrong for the police to stop the investigation so quickly.  It's one of those things that we'll never know.

Chris Antley's death will be part of thoroughbred racing lore forever... along with the death of Nashua's owner in the 1950s and the horrible murder of Alydar.
