Any tips for 200m sprint?

i have sports day on tuesday and im doing the 200m sprint..any tips for before and during the run?

is it best to start slow and speed up?

is it best to have a good nights sleep?

what foods to eat?

any other tips:)

  1. Take the first 50M at about 80% and then drive to full speed through the last 150M. Focus a getting a good start and properly running the curve with a slight lean inward. Make sure you come off the curve in a full sprint while driving your arms and keeping a consistent stride. Do not start out running at 100% or you will lose speed the last 50 M. Only well conditioned athletes should attepmt the race at 100% all 200M
