There are two bets that the Bookmaker does not push in your face to have a bet on. Which means it is the two bets that they dislike the most as the odds are slightly in the punters favour overall. The two bets are 1. "A Single" and  2 "A Patent".  A single needs no explanation. A Patent is three horses done as three singles.three doubles and a treble.

O.K. given that if you do a single, if you lose,all your stake is gone,but if it wins there is no safety net for the bookie. With a patent if one horse loses you are only cutting out four of the seven bets,you should still make a profit. Take a look at all the other bets they advertise,then work out how many bets are losers if the first horse goes down !

All you need now are three horses, or dogs or whatever. If you haven't picked them by Saturday take a look at my selections (and other peoples) in the Saturday tipster competition.!!
