I have undying passion for hip hop dancing and recently decided to go for my dreams and try it. However, I am quite an amateur at this and I need all the help I can get. I'm not really the type people see as a dancer. (I'm rejecting the stereotype) Also, I am searching for a crew. Any suggestions? (I joined yahoo just to ask this... ;~> )

  1. The best thing you can do is take hip-hop dance classes. that will help you get use to learning choreography and the moves. Soon you'll get better and be able to learn at a faster rate and you'll learn about the other different type of styles. If you want to save money, just try to learn choreography off of videos online. It's take longer but it's cheaper.

  2. Depending on age, there could be some hip-hop dance classes availible.

When it comes to hip-hop, dont be afraid to really push it.

Lots of combinations, spins, and sometimes dancing on the ground will work well.

Its always good to stretch before dance.
