  1. I have always used liquid, so I'm pretty good at applying, I don't even have to stretch my eye out, I just kind of paint it on like an artist painting a brushstroke. I rest my hand on my cheek and start in the middle of the eye and draw a line to the outer corner, then I extend it out a bit. Then I start at the inner corner and draw a really thin line to meet the line I drew before. I step back and look at it, then I go back and make the line thicker if I need to. It just takes practice. I usually don't put this on my bottom lashes, if I do wear eyeliner on the bottom I take a pencil and only draw halfway. Sometimes I think liquid on the bottom can look too dramatic unless it's nighttime. Oh, and I always put my liquid eyeliner on after I do my eyeshadow and before my mascara, but if you are a beginner you should put it on before you do your eyeshadow in case you mess up. Good luck, it just takes practice!

edit: forgot to add that I dab the applicator on a tissue a few times first so the eyeliner doesn't look so inky, and looks more soft. But that is entirely my personal preference.

  2. Well, if you want it on the top eyelid, I suggest doing it before any other makeup is applied.

Tie your hair back and make sure your face is clean, then take your finger and stretch your eyelid and line it with the eyeliner, if you get messy, I would use a Que and some soap and water.

then do whatever style you want.

I suggest using an eyeliner pencil for your bottom lid, so you ddint burn your eyeballs =]

  3. dont poke yourself in the eye

  4. be patient

    start from the center

use a little at a time

first few times getting used to it, do it knowing you have time or if you have nothing else to do, so that you can just practice and use eye makeup remover on it whenevre you mess up

  5. On the upper eyelid apply whatever eye-shadow you want and then start from the centre of the lid and move out towards the edge and follow the sort of dip by the edge of your eye to create a flick. This works best when applied when the eye is open. The bottom is harder and I would generally reccomend using a pencil but other wise, start at the inner eye-lid, where the lashes end and in one stroke draw to the outer edge. It looks nice if the line is thicker on the top and bottom on the outer edges of the lids.

Hope this helped and wasn't too confusing!
