  1. yeah i got plenty of tips for chess, the first one being -stop playing, buy yourself an x box instead. you obviously aint that good if you gotta ask for tips!

second suggestion would be cheat, distract your opponent and move some pieces!

  2. castleing move      you have to have your bishop and knight out of its starting position . THEN MOVE YOUR KING NEXT TO YOUR ROOK and move your rook to the oposite side of your king . You now know how to castle  :)

Ryans right , and chess isnt boring its fun and challenging . Maybe you should try learning how to play it then you will enjoy it . I play alot  , I would say i am a 8/10 chess player .SORRY THIS IS KINDA OFF TOPIC.

  3. Ignore Scyllus

Look into some chess strategy/tactical books.  They teach you how to think.

There are some great things to look for:

-pins (forcing a piece to stay where it is, or else check or you take the piece behind it)

-forks (usually with the knight, attacking 2 pieces at once where both can't be saved)

-skewers (attacking a piece, ie the king, and forcing it to move out of the way, allowing you to take the piece behind)

Sometimes sacrifices can work in your favor, make sure to calculate well, though :)

always open to control the center.

if you have a material advantage, trade down to simplify the board.

bishop(s) and queen on the same diagonal and rook(s) and queen on the same file/rank are VERY powerful

pawns are usually the easiest way to protect pieces

I hope this crash course helps ;)

  4. 2 Powerful Attacks!

Pin (or skewer if the king is in front): Trap a powerful piece on the same line of attack as your king.

Fork: Attack a king and another powerful piece at the same time (this is most effective using a knight on a king and queen, it is also very good if you can fork the two rooks with your knight after your opponent castles queenside).

Go to http://www.shredderchess.com to work on your opening and endgame.

And no, there is not any guaranteed quick win (or any guaranteed win for that matter).

  5. go to the library and look for a chess strategy book, they are very helpful

  6. You can win in three moves if you first move your pawn in front of your king. Then Move your Queen 3 spaces diagonal and the bishop 4 spaces diagonal. Then use your Queen to take the pawn straight ahead and your opponents king can't go anywhere... I use it a lot and win!

  7. go to redhotchess.com

    Honestly, I am not joking

They give tutorials and you can play over the net multiple games

    Its amazing

we could have a game - I am morrelia on the website

lovely - clearly we would kick your **** in a game involving the mind and you'll find we have better IQs than you - perhaps its becuase we're men ??

Ignore Scyllus - that move is usually anticipated and easily blocked - use your mind mate
