Since you are trying to sell baby stuff I would look into forums like livejournal and find a community for mother and try to talk about it there. Like this community about eco-fabric baby stuff: http://community.livejournal.com/clothlo...

There is this community I belong to: http://community.livejournal.com/cloth_p... and people sell and talk about their products in a friendly not pushing to sell way. I would try that at a appropriate community. Best luck.

Hi,

There are many ways to market a small business on the web.  You can buy banner ads, text links, or use PPC.  However, the best way is to get listed in a bunch of portals. Portals and directories are like phone books, and they often provide a lot of traffic because they tend to rank high on Google.
