Any tips for gymnastics conditioning?

i'm a gymnast and i need to get significantly stronger before i can progress to the higher levels (specifically level 10 and elite). i'm nearly there but as i said i need more strength!

i need generally more strength everywhere. upper body, arms, legs, shoulders. tips please? preferabely from strong people/gym coaches/gymnasts (:

  1. If you have access to a weight lifting area, I would suggest you do lifting and training on weight equiptment everyother day. This would be the best for you especially since you are a high level gymnast, this equipment can allow you to progress in strength. Make sure you do different machines for different parts of the arm, stomach, and leg, and sholder muscles.

    I suggest you make a plan, say you go 3x a week. One day you focus on arms and upper body, triceps, biceps, shoulders, all that stuff. The next time you do legs an stomach, then the third day you have a longer workout and you do both.

    If you don't have accesss to a weight lift area then you have smaller amount of options except to do the regular pushups, sit ups, running, calfraises exercises.
