  1. I was so nervous my foot would shake on the clutch. In the end i asked my doctor for some Beta blockers to help and i passed forth time. I took them for the week before to get them in my system, they had no side effects and  I would of passed first time if i had known i could take them.

  2. I found that taking a deep breath in, and as I breathed out visualising all my fear leaving my body helped a lot.

Imagine that the examiner is just your regular driving instructor, and try to treat it as no scarier than a normal lesson.

  3. Try to have a conversation with the instructor before the test but not during it. If you have a nice instructor that talks back you will be more calm. it helped me. other than that just use any technique that helps you calm down in any other situation. you'll find out soon enough that if you know what you're doing the stress will go away. just dont let it bother you.

  4. Take a vailum

  5. Have some chocolate bar before u take the test.

    GOOOOOD LUCKKKKK!!

  6. Take a few deep breaths,   and remember the officer isn't there to flunk you,  but be sure that your abilty and knowledge will lead to the safety of you and others.      The officer would rather see you pass than fail,  so they don't see you again,   but has an obligation to safety.     Unless you have outstanding warrents or show up drunk,  you will be OK.      Just pay attention to what they ask and always be courteous.  If you are unsure of what they desire,  say so.

  7. Make sure that you understand what the instructor is asking you to do before doing it. Before you get in the car, remind yourself to do the little things - make sure the mirrors are adjusted, your seat belt is buckled, etc.

Don't pay attention to what the person is writing, pay attention to your driving.

While driving, remember to signal, check mirrors and blind spots, and look 20 seconds down the road.

Just take a deep breath, relax, and remember what you have been taught, and you'll do fine!

  8. Just do what you learned to do the best you can, and try and remember that the instructor is not there to fail you. Just do what he or she asks you to do and you will be fine. Good luck.

  9. I failed the drivers test twice because of excessive nervousness.  My dad went with me but my mom went with my the 3rd time.  If your parents go with you, which one do you feel more comfortable with?   That might make a difference.    Confidence. Find a way to be confident. Rationalize. It's not the end of the world. Relax. Make do some meditation before you go.  Practice. Practice makes confidence.

  10. Imagine the examiner sitting in the car wearing only thier underwear, You can not be intimidated by someonr in underwear.
