I used gloves ... and no not those litle knit gloves lol. But afer a few hours the feeling in my fingers were nonexistant and i had to warm them up on the spot. How am I supposed to do that on a ski-lift?!

I ended up going in the bathroom after that and flooding the sink with hot water to put my hands in lol.

  1. while on the lift take your fingers and pull them up next to your palm to keep them warm.

(while still inside of your glove)

  2. lol i know this may sound wierd but trying sticking ur hands somewhere in ur body and they will be gaurnteed 2 be warmed up

  3. They must have some kind of heating pad -- thin ones-- that you can stick onto your hand before you put on your gloves. I know they have something like that for the foot.

  4. Mittens are warmer than gloves because your fingers are all together rather than separated.

  5. sounds like you have poor circulation in your hands, go to the proshop and try to buy some goves that have warmers in them, usually battery powered

  6. Mittens!

I wear a very thin liner glove under a non-insulated, but very roomy Gore-Tex mitten. I use either Polartec Powerstretch or Gore N2S liner gloves.

The mittens trap a lot of heat and are much better than ski gloves. I wear the liners only on the coldest of days in the event I need to pull off my mitten, I still have some wind-protection.

It's also easier to shove a hand warmer in a mitten than in your gloves.

  7. Buy a pair of hand warmers. they really work great.
