Any tips for me in middle school?

Any tips for 6th grade? (dont report ) plz

its not as hard as everybody says it is in 6th grade (7th grade is much worse socially)

just stay organized, dont get cliquey (however you spell it), and enjoy it while you can because high school is a lot harder academically (not usually socially if you have your own friends by then) and popularity doesn't matter because it gets you nowhere and nobody really likes the popular girls except for their wanna be 'friends'

as a former 6th grade teacher, the main thing I'd recommend is turn your work in on time!!  I had more kids get bad report cards because they didn't turn in their work, whether it was done or not.  don't be afraid to ask if you don't understand something.  if you see someone doing something that might get them in trouble, walk away.  don't get caught up in it and get in trouble yourself.  follow the dress code even if it's not really enforced.  some teacher you never saw before might report you anyway.  I told my students "do what you're supposed to be doing when you're supposed to be doing it."  you can't go wrong that way.

your lower class man. realize it. don't try to become friends with 8th graders. it will not work. go about your business and don't worry about making friends. whoever is in the same clique as you will eventually find there way to you.don't talk back to teachers, don't be the class clown. it really isn't funny. pay attention more to your school work than to anything else. be careful who you hang out with. some kids will have the mentality of a second grader while others are out to get you in trouble. your the runt of the litter and everyone else knows it. good luck
