  1. Good swing by the way so you need some tips? I could see a few flaws nothing dramatic. What you need to focus on is your setup it was a little open and made your swing a little to upright. Your looked a bit off balance in you follow through causes by a straight right leg and a slight sway away from the ball instead a better turn with the hips. Focus getting set up a little more symmetrical and finish on your left foot to prevent those blocks. If you a fader by nature then by all means set up open but make a realistic notion to finish in balance this may require you to slightly shorten your backswing goodluck!

  2. Yo man I know you based on seeing you around this answers forum and we answer a lot of the same questions so I know you know what you're doing. That said I also know what you're doing. Start with a more balanced stance and everything will follow in suit. Because of the balance, the club continues back when it should start to turn inside. Your wrists should be setting quicker on the back and be fully set at the top. Instead you're setting them at the very top and just blasting at the ball. Try some closed eyed shots the next time you're at the range. This will correct your balance and help you swing through. It will also help with acceleration and smooth the whole thing out a little. Looks good though you probably pound a driver. I wish I had a natural lag like yours. You can tell it's a long iron in the video cause you're hitting more "at" it and trying to kill it. But I would definitely do some closed eyed practice. It will help you hold that finish!

  3. I see some. Pause it at 00:13. Your club face is closed and it looks like your right knee has lost all bend if not completely locked out. The knee is what causes you to jump and make more of a slide toward the ball rather than a turn at 00:13-00:14. This is a reverse pivot. That's also why it's probably pretty hard to hold your finish and you probably have to step out of it quite a bit. Your right arm starts to chicken wing a bit in your take away and around at the top of your swing, this is probably why if you haven't played in a few days you feel very uncomfortable swinging longer irons and drivers and feel as if you have no control until you play a few days. Your follow through needs to be out toward the target more as you can watch yourself 'jerk' the club back toward you right before you step out of your swing at about 00:15. If that confuses you, what i really mean is the club should be higher at finish like up by your left ear, not at your chest. You also need to grip down on the club. There should be a good inch between the top of the club and your left hand. This adds control. GOOD things i see is a nice tempo and a great shoulder turn for someone that shoots in the mid to upper 80's (i'm guessing by that one shot. You can tell me if i'm wrong).

Now i'll say that your main miss (now i might be wrong because it just depends on what habit you have the most of. I mean i only watched one swing) is probably a high push slice or fade OR a relatively low snap hook.

If you see what i see and happen to agree with me then let me know and i'll show you how to fix all of that.

    Hope this helps.

P.S. I hope i don't sound cocky when i write things like this. I just make guess at how people feel and what they shoot so that they trust me and so they know i know what i'm talking about.

  4. It's not a bad looking swing.  A little sway rather than hip turn and you do look just a little off balance.  That could be from trying to hit the ball too hard.  The only other thing not already mentioned might be your right elbow flying a little high.  Try keeping it a little closer to your body in the back swing.
