Any tips for really quick changes?? i have literally 30seconds to change in a show...?

im in a production and we hafta get changed really quick!! any tips?? thanks x

If  possible enlist a cast member not involved in doing a quick change himself to be your assistant.  This will double the number of motions that can be done simultaneously. The new  costume should be preset and as close to prepped to go on the body as possible- shirts already gathered so you just stick your arms into them, shoes right at your feet for stepping into. Divide the tasks to be done between you and your helper; while you are taking off your jacket, he/she is unbuttoning your shirt. while you are stepping into your new shoes, they are pulling the shirt down over your arms and head. If you cant have a helper look at what you can do for yourself - do all your shirt buttons show? If not dont button them all. Start undressing the second the lights go out use the time walking offstage to where your new  costume is to be undressing. Good luck!
