  1. Do you have 'Subway' restaurants up there at all ? - do what what they do. (if subway hasnt hit newcastle yet - be the first to open a franchise there !

  2. Yes!...do coronation chicken in fresh french bread!!!!

  3. give free sandwiches to your local taxi driver and he (i) can spread the the good word aboot your shop

  4. Stay far away from Subway

  5. get a deep fat fryer and a licence to sell alcohol.

  6. Being in the catering business , I suggest you check out the competition and see what they are offering, range and price wise, If possible a mini van with your logo(bright and catchy)on the side and introduce a sandwich run for Industrial parks.

Make up a classy looking menu with a good printers and distribute it to the industrial parks, after all everyone gets sick of canteen food and packed lunches.

Even put a survey out in your local area  and find out what appeals to people, you'll find it will help narrow the margin on certain types of foods.

During the summer a trolley roller is great for the parks as everyone like to eat out in the sun away from the office. You will need a license for both. Which are fairly easy to obtain.

Introduce organic sandwiches, soups, breads, cakes and a vary of ethnic foods also available in your sandwiches and introduce easy ready to go hot foods.

Also hire good looking staff, theirs nothing like a pretty face and smile, to appeal to both men and women...

    Good Luck!
