  1. 1.Dont be a s**t!

    2.Everyone haets freshmen

    3. Be The best person you can be and make as many friends as you can high school is the S*IT!

  2. dont be a follower. I know you want to fit in and have friends, everybody does, but if that means saying mean things/dressing a certain way/treating people unfairly or bullying dont follow

  3. Don't get into the drama scene. Just be yourself, go to school be happy and if people don't want to be your friend or are mean to you just ignore them. Don't get into the "who's who" or anything like that. Have fun.

  4. go up and down steps on the right side. the upper class gets pissed when your on the left and they are coming down them. or when your coming down the left and they are trying to go up the right , it just messes things up. ahahhahaha

  5. Just don't worry, cause the first days the day youll learn everything and everyone gets lost trust me after the first week it'll be all okay

  6. im gonna be a sophomore. and freshman year sucks. just be nice to the older people and you'll do fine. if not..you'll have big problems.

  7. Just be cool. Be yourself. Know yourself. Make priorities and get involved in extra curricular activities. Make the best of your grades and keep thinking about what interests you, so when you graduate you already know what you want to study.

  8. ughh i think the most important thing is to have friends but i mean real friends

dont try to fit it wit da popular crowd all im saying is to be yourself

omg try to have good grades TRUST ME on this one if not it could lead u to trouble and be try to make this da best years of ur life cuz seriously der da last ones as a teenager so try to have fun and make alot of friends!!!

  9. Be friendly. Talk to a lot of people. Be yourself because people can spot if your being fake. Joining a club or activity is a great way to make friends and meet people. Look cute. Have fun...i's goes by way to fast.

  10. Dont buy any elevator keys, and there is no swimming pool on the roof... and the gym floor doesn't retract to reveal the swimming pool.

  11. be prepared for lots of drama... which can be fun if your not involved with it lol

but highschools the best! i cant wait for school lol im ganna be a sophmore!

the school where im at they dont do much to the freshman.... they did throw pennies though lol thats about it...

the best advice i can give you is dont act like a freshman :) may sound a little mean... but our incoming freshman are little jerks lol... they think they are real bad *** lol

  12. make sure you do your work, don't slack off

    not one bit.

People in high are not mean at all very nice friendly people just don't be rude be a nice young lady they will treat you well if they receive kindness . If not then leave them alone don't start argument

One more thing make sure when your in class speak up when you want to know something

    High school goes by fast

9th grade is a fun year stay on track (no boyfriends I'm dead serious) :)

their yucky in high school okay :] (Don't drink alcohol, nor party.)

Theres a lot of things you'll face that arent good keep one word in mind and say "NO"

10th grade will go fast pass your tests be good

11th grade will go fast take summer school it help if your missing credits its your last year to catch up on credits basically unless you have night school

then your last year 12 grade

dont know what to expect its my last year :)

But i know it will go fast then your out in the real world

    You'll finally start life

be wise, be safe, NO DRUGS!!!

    :)

  13. You shouldnt bother with the upperclassmen (Juniors or Seniors) cause theyre top dogs and usually do not care about Freshmen. Start a conversation with someone in one of your classes.

  14. make sure you keep up with your math courses, cause they get harder and harder every year and they use the same material just a little more intense.

  15. there's nothing to be worried about, im sure you'll make friends in no time and have lots of fun!!

    good luck with everything^^

  16. I was nervous my first year but theres nothing to worry about. Get involved witha sports or activites to met new people.

  17. I have been in the same situation last year.

I was so scared but nothing bad happened.

Just dont pick any fights with older people

and just have fun because high school freshmen year

    is the best(:

  18. I am 21 and my advice is to realize that YOU are an individual. Be a leader and dont let other kids try to make you feel "weird" or "small" for doing the RIGHT things & making smart choices.

Alot of kids in highschool want to grow up fast so they start dating boys, having s*x, smoking, doing drugs. Dont fall into that trap. I didn't!

I always did what I thought would make myself & my parents proud.

Of course ppl called me "quiet" and "weird" but oh well. I saw the BIGGER picture for my future. Half of the ppl i graduated with all have babies & messed up lives. So my point is, be a leader and never follow the crowd.

Study hard, get involved in activites, keep busy, Choose your friends wisely!!!

  19. starting high school can be really scary, but you generally don't have much to worry about/ If you're worried about seniors, juniors, or sophomores bothering you, don't fret. The only people who usually bother the freshmen are the sophomores, and that's only because they're not freshmen anymore. They don't really do much though. Usually just say "stupid freshmen" or whatever.

If you worried that you won't make any new friends, don't fret either. There will always be another student out there who feels the same way. Try to find people who have the same classes as you, and just say, "Hi! I'm Ashley!" And try to start a general conversation, like where they live, if they have any siblings, and what their last school was.

There is definitely more, harder work than middle school, but after a while you should get used to the workload. Just stay focused on your schoolwork.

Try joining a club or a few clubs, and try out for sports teams. Don't mess with anyone, and watch out for drama. If you get caught up in drama or get in a fight, it will definitely make your freshman year not too enjoyable.

Respect teachers, staff, and other students. You don't want to gain the title as a troublemaker or be considered obnoxious. That won't make the year enjoyable, either.

High School is pretty fun, so you don't have much to worry about. And the year will go by faster than you know it! In June, you'll probably be saying, "It still feels like December!"

    Good luck! :]

  20. ha im going to be a freshman too.

aND btw the more you stress and freak out and wonder bout stuff the more freakish youll seem.

  21. You must have heard this phrase so many times, but it's still the wisest. Just be yourself. Be proud of who you are, and you'll make friends before you know it. Trust me

  22. 1.Just chill. High school is basically the same as middle school,...just a few diff. teachers and a lot more students. Be prepared for just a little freshman teasing (we all have 2 go through it :) so stay positive!

#2 joining school clubs can actually increase your social network! in other words, its a really easy way 2 make friends (im a junior in my school band)

So just dont sweat your first year. take it easy, and pretty soon, you'll be able 2 laugh at all the freshmen stressing over the exact same thing next year :)

  23. JUST BE YOURSELF!!

if you want to make good friends, then be a good and true person

don't stress...i did. and did it for nothing.

    high school is a blast

dont waste it being a fake

  24. Ok you maybe heard this a billion and one times but, just be yourself, don't be anyone you are not. I also heard collages look at your freshman year, so make sure you don't just fool around, keep up good grades, try to aim for A's but you can get B's DON'T settle or aim for C's OR ANYTHING LOWER.

  25. dont stress bout everything because if you do you will feel like an idiot later... oh and dont show off for your crush or anyone else...and dont talk back to teachers and dont be late for class but seriously high skool is awesome i'm in 10th grade this year and really lookin forward to it. dont worry its awesome! =D

  26. hi ashley nice to meet you. i remember high school. was kinda scary at times. the best thing i can tell you is to be yourself. have fun and do your best. and just remember everyone else is just as nervous as you are.

  27. Be prepared to be miserable. High school is often the worst time in many people's lives.

  28. It's not a big deal. It's not like in the movies or anything where they tend to glorify the drama. High school is pretty fun. Just get out there and be nice to people and try to make friends.

  29. Oh, exactly my kind of question, just entered last year and going into my sophomore year. Definitely don't freak, it's just another grade and you get used to it pretty easily. Joni clubs/teams to find easy friends who share interests. Talk to people you don't know, maybe the person right next to you or your locker buddy. Tell them how you feel, everyone is nervous and it makes you feel more comfortable. Also, ask people about what other classes/teachers they have, it gets people talking especially if your on a dead subject. Good luck on the new year!

  30. dont change who you are unless its for the better, and dont trust ANYONE because highschool is filled with boys who only want s*x and girls who will stab u in the back. try to be social, but dont let ur social life take over because then ull have trouble getting into college. also, dont be scared, its not that bad. good luckk =]

  31. you should make sure that you don't look nervous. never look nervous, but confident. dress in something nice and cool, but try and be yourself. Also, make sure you have school supplies and are ready to learn, because that is what you are primarily there for. Try to locate friends that you knew from Jr. high and hang out with them at lunch. Don't worry, things always have a way of working their selves out! Don't  forget to take pictures. they are priceless and you will look back and laugh about a year later.
