Hi :D

When I was 8 I started Gymnastics but I gave it up at 12. Now I seriously regret it and I want to start it again. Any tips?

P.S. I went to a club for a short time when I was 8 but after that I never went, I could do a lot of things which I taught myself eg. front flips, falling into a bridge, handstands [against a wall, I could never do them without one xD], headstands, splits etc.

  1. What's your age? Pending on that is the limit of what you can do. Start out with stretching again and conditioning. Now its just the will power of getting back on the horse so to speak. Training yourself, getting to a gymnatistics center, gyms in general, all in all, its just you getting out and trying to get back to doing it. Hope this helped.

  2. lots of stretching

  3. Just have fun with it and dont rush it. Eventually you will get the hang of it all.

    Good Luck!

    Hope that helps!

  4. stretch a lot before you start.

  5. Yah.... You have kinda been outta the loop for a long time to be getting back in it.... And you are kind of at a 8 year olds level... So i guess just have fun

  6. Find a good gym and start taking classes. In our gym, one of the gymnast took a few years off because she didn't think she wanted to do it anymore. Well, she is in Florida for nationals and won first place all-around in her age group. She is 14 years old.

  7. go to a gym club

  8. hi

i do gymnastics and have been for a long time.

try looking on the internet for local clubs near you.

or join the gym club at school & see if you wont to join a club again.

think of what type of gymnastics you wont to do

i used to do sports acro

but now i do cheerleading and i really enjoy it.

    hoped i helped :)
