Any tips for traveling to Lindau, Germany?

My husband is going to Lindau, Germany in July. (There are several Lindau's in Germany. It's the one that is near the Austrian Border in Southern Germany near the Swiss Alps.) and I can travel with him. I will be on my own during the day and I was wondering if anyone had tips (places to see, things to do) for me during my stay. anything will be a great help.

Lindau is a really nice town on the Bodensee (Lake Constance)

Austria and Switzerland are near and all the other towns on the Bodensee are worth a visit too.
