Any tips.i got an 88 yj i was thinkin of cuttin the exhaust pipe a good amount off i wanna better sound ?

cutting the exhaust will  not add any hp to your vehicle, and if you are looking to chop off the muffler, you most probably will fail any emissions test you need to take. it will give you a louder car, but you can do the same thing by adding a different muffler to your system.
