hey!

well i have a lot of discolourations on my chin and forehead caused by teenage spots (and a few spots as well), and when ever i use my (mineral) concealer and foundation it looks really cakey and unnatural as i need quite a lot to cover them completely, So if any1 with the same problem could please give me some tips on getting a natural looking complexion i would greatly appreciate it, :)

also i am really pale (almost white) which is why i sometimes look a light shade of orange because i use quite a lot of foundation

thanks in advance x*x :)

  1. Apply mineral foundation(in powder form) with a fluffy powder brush or a kabuki brush. Use CIRCULAR motions from forhead to around the eyes, down to side of nose, cheeks eventually to chin. Remember CIRCULAR motions. I have been using mineral foundation for a year but i relize many girls do nto know how to control the strokes well and a bad BASE means a BAD makeup.

  2. Try a loose powder. I've been using bare minerals for about a year now, and it works really great. It's all mineral so its good for your skin, and doesn't clog, and its really light, and has great coverage, and blends well.

You can get it at sephora, or most well known beauty supply stores.

(also when you go to find your exact shade, make sure your not wearing any foundation or powder, cause then you might accidentally get a shade too dark)

Hope it works out for you!

  3. Use a round sponge. There is one shaped like an egg called "beauty blender" and it gets in all the contours of your face for perfect application. You can buy it on the top floor of Harrods, or google it for where you can buy it in your area. I also suggest generally using a sponge and run it under cold water first, squeeze it out and squeeze it again with a tissue around it, to remove excess water then put foundation on it a bit at a time as u apply. This will set it on ur face and it seems to prevent it clogging in one area. good luck x

  4. With a bricklayer's trowel.
