Any tips on cocktails for a girl on a diet?

Am meeting up with some friends at a bar later tonight but I'm trying to stick with my diet.

I'm looking for something low in calories/carbs/fat...

Any drink ideas?

  1. Any clear spirit with a clear soda.  Clear sodas are lower in sodium.  My suggestion is vodka and 7-up.  Limit 2.  And don't drive!


  2. Well, if you can stay away from any alcohol, do it.  It's all high in calories.

    If you want to 'fake' that you're drinking, you could try a 'Shirley Temple'.  It's simply soda and grenadine and tastes great.  

    Beer is full of carbs.  Even the light version.  

    As far as calories/fat/ and carbs goes, you could always ask your server what they would recommend.

  6. Alcohol behaves as a fat on the metabolic level.  If you don't want a beer gut, then stay away from the booze, sweetie.

    if u must drink try vodka or rum...

  8. red wine...one glass. it has anti-oxidants and not all the sugar that the mixed/frozen drinks have.

    then have a pelligrino..it's bubbly and healthy and will stave off a hangover! :)

  9. Any alcoholic beverage has calories.  Sweet drinks have sugars, creamy ones have fat.

    Stick to tequila, you'll puke it or c**p it all out soon enough.

    just don't have more than 2 drinks.
