Any tips on how to dance at a prom?

I usually just go wild and freestyle some crazy disco **** when I dance, but im guessing I need a more civilised dance style for this occasion. HELP!

Wild and freestyle has always been the way to do it in my book. Civilized dancing is really only necessary for the slow songs, in which case you simply put your hands on the small of your date's back and sway in time to the music. It's really pretty simple.

Now, if your date is just a friend, and you don't know how much to make eye contact while you slow dance--that's the real challenge.
