  1. My tips are:

    1. You should check out various anime and manga. You should read articles, reviews and surveys (or check out the comic/animation questions on yahoo answers to learn insights from people). This should give you an overview on how anime and manga are fascinating art forms and at the same time you could see the various style used for every genre.

    2. You should always enhance your drawing skills by emulating or copying some anime characters. Even the most seasoned artist or professionals learned to draw by copying an object, an image or a scene.

    3. And maybe once you could draw a character with ease, you could improve your work by doing "your work right". I mean anime and or manga have certain distinct qualities from cartoons or comics, so I suggest you invest your time on tutorials on anime and manga. There are a lot of online tutorials, but I suggest you take a look at "How to Draw Manga" books. The aforementioned books are a starters guide to basic manga drawing.

    4. One great factor I observed on improving one's skill in drawing or any related activity is that one who is more motivated and intensely pursuing a desired output usually is the one who learns and improves faster. I know of a girl who came to like anime and manga and tried to learn how to draw. Her initial drawings were like the usual kid's drawing or imitation of a cartoon character, but months passed of intense drawing, she improved so well that she knows how to apply perspective and depth.

    5. Manga/Anime for many are just hobbies or a way to kill time, and for others becoming a manga/anime artist could be a great career or job. So early on, you should know what to pursue and make plans, but be sure to make that decision when you are at the right age of discernment.

    6. Have a true appreciation for the art (manga/anime). If you learn to appreciate some good manga or anime, you will realize their importance and when you consider something important, you wouldn't take it for granted and not consider it as a passing fad of or whim. And although you may get busy or have other matters aside from anime and manga to pursue, the magic will always be there and that feeling will never grow old.

    7. Enjoy drawing, enjoy watching anime, and at least update yourself on what's new on anime/manga once in a while.

    goodluck

  4. u should hire a teacher

  5. Well, you'll have to spend some time but you can follow the videos from the resource link.  It will literally teach you step by step.

Eventually, the ideal is to develop your own style of course...but it's a great guide to give you a nice head start!  Good luck becoming the best artist haha.  :)

  6. you can try buying some manga magazines that contains intructions to draw mangas like "how to draw manga" and other related stuffs.

you can also search the web finding the manga online tutorials like

    http://www.mangatutorials.com/

    http://www.drawingnow.com/how-to-draw-ma...

    or some teachings online...

  7. Its easy, watch a lot of animes/mangas to get an idea of what you want to draw. Start by imitating the artists' drawing styles, once you know a couple of drawing styles( I recommend CLAMP and Matsuri Hino), you'll be able to create your own signature style. Trust me, i started out years ago watching Sailor Moon and now I can draw fairly well (I'm around your age). Most importantly is to PRACTISE!!!!

    Ganbatte!!

  8. YES. Please just keep practicing and practicing till you sweat.

Honestly, work on face details before you do things like hair and body parts.

Honestly, I would suggest working on these before you move on to these:

Start on the face, make the skull/face shape very sharp and not messy.

Then start on the nose and eyes and add in some details.

Make sure to GO very slow before you start on the details.

Once you completed the face work with the hair, It's just like getting a haircut. You can't exactly choose the right hair without comparing it to the face. So, look at the face and decide which type of style would be appropriate. Do your best; I would suggest a book by the way. Many for manga and anime.
