Any tips on how to use eyeshadow as an eyeliner?

Right now I'm using Max Factor's Vivid Impact Eyeshadow Duos and I'd love any tips on how to use the colors as both eye shadows and eye liners. Also, can you give your opinion on the best drugstore mascara (clump-free, curls, and volumizes)? Any answers would be great, thanks :)

  1. Ok, what you'll need is a mixing medium. This is a liquid you mix with eye shadows to make them easier to work with. Basically, it's 1 part glycerin (available at any drugstore) and 3 parts water. make a very small batch, maybe 4 teaspoons at the most, this recipe doesn't have any preservatives.

LashBlast is the best mascara, but it doesn't curl, you have to do it yourself :(

Once you have it made, put the MM onto an angled eyeliner brush. Wipe the brush off on a towel, you just want it to be damp. Then get the eyeshadow on the brush and brush it on your lash line. Your brush might dry out, so you might have to reapply the MM, but don't use too much or it will turn out streaky and not very pigmented.

    Hope this helps!

  2. yep! just take i thin eye makeup brush and run it along your eyelid where you would apply eyeliner(to make it show up better just dampen the brush)! mabeline great lash mascara is definetly the best mascara ever! it is affordable and works wonders! i hope i helped!! ; )

  3. There are flat eye shadow brushes that look like little 'edge' paintbrushes. Pick up some of the color on the very edge of the brush, fill it up pretty well, then 'paint' it in along your lashes. The brush I use is from the Victoria's Secret collection. I've had it for years and it hasn't lost its edge and it doesn't hold on to the shadow or discolor.

I think you'll get a pretty good effect that way. Those colors are HOT, good luck!
