  1. rachet who the f**k are you to say brits are dumb look at you yanks I do believe you keep calling soliders TO the f**king war.

But I very much doubt you will move to america as you need 50k cash for resources

  2. RACHET IS A MONNGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!

    WE AINT DUMB!!

My dream is 2 move 2 america aswell. but i doubt that would happen so i just go there every year on holidays and i loveeeeeeee it =D

  3. UK subjects are excluded from America's "green card lottery" system, so you need to demonstrate an ability to support yourself to get in. This could mean either having a profession (eg doctor) or a skilled trade of benefit to America, or simply a very large bank balance.

  4. Hack into a computer then you'll go to Guantanamo bay. Or move to Cuba and convert Cuba into an american state from the inside.

  5. BELIEVE!!

Everyone immigrated here. [cept for natives of course]

    Now's your time.

    Good LUUUUUck

  6. l moved fron London to San Francisco in the 1980s.l obtained a work visa and residency whilst out there.l now live in London.

It is much harder to move countries than you imagine, even an english speaking one.Everything has to be learnt,no-one knows your history,TV is appalling, cultural activities is low.Sports are a joke.

l was there for most of the 80s and met many Brits, nearly all return, some quickly, some over several years.

Go ahead and move, but don't burn bridges as you'll be back,unless...lurrve takes hold.

remember no cricket,no good football,no snooker,no formula 1,no moto GP,no THFC,no wimbledon.no BBC.California is utterly beautiful and a joy,but you will tire of it.Enjoy and have fun before blighty calls you back

  7. You listen to the good advice about visas and such , then show the h**l on up. WELCOME!

  8. Don't try walking. There's a horrid wet patch in-between.

  9. First of all you need a visa to be able to live there. Concentrate on how you'll get that first. Whether its due to working there or whatever..or just meet an american girl online and marry her. Always an expensive yet quicker option!! aha

On a serious note - heres some sites that will give you more information.

    http://www.evanswallace.com/emigrate-usa...

    http://www.emigrate2.co.uk/visas_and_adv...

    http://www.americagreencard.org/

    http://www.newhorizonsgroup.com/

I'm sure one of these sites may be able to answer some of the questions you have.

    Hope I could help,

    Gemma

  10. I don't know who some of these people associate with or get their ideas from, but nobody I know would be "snotty" to you because you are British. In fact, I think people would love your accent, and the fact that you ARE British.  You would be well received I believe.  Just make sure that you have a skill or degree of some sort to offer when you come over.  It is expensive to live here.

  11. no idea!

    but sounds great!

but americans can be snooty so watch your back!

    xxxx

  12. Dream on Michael :)

  13. the best tip that was given to myself 6 years ago was pack a suitcase with things you might need (leave the rest because it is only worth taking to charity shop anyway as why would you emigrate if life was so good here ?) and secondly go by air you get there quicker and finally travel sickness pills come in handy
