Any tips on st thomas ,us virgin islands?

Great place to vacation, lots to do, and many great places to eat.  If you have time try to day trip to the nearby islands. You'll have a great time

My wife and I just went a month ago, definitely go to Meagan's Bay, the water and views are unbelievable, there is a bar, with food available also.  If you don't rent a car(they drive on the opposite side of the road)plan on spending some money on taxi's, the drivers are very friendly but ask how much it will be first.  The bus system is weird, open air buses with no set stops, people just ring a bell to get off.  Drink Bushwhacker's, kind of like a mudslide.  Try to take an all day boat trip to the other islands, some have open bar with lunch and allow you to go snorkeling.  There are some sketchy areas too, I wouldn't go off your resort at night.

Lucky,Lucky you. We were there in May on both islands.

Our favorite beach on St John this trip was Francis Bay and Vie's Beach. We snorkeled with turtles. Love these 2 beaches, nice calm water. Vie's is located on the east end of St John and it's a beautiful drive out to her place. She has a food shack too with the best island food . Johnny cakes, conch fritters, garlic chicken, and pineapple and coconut tarts. Yum.

There are 39 pristine beaches on St John. They are all awesome.

Be sure to have a painkiller drink at the Beach Bar in Cruz Bay. The food is very good too.

Take a boat excursion to the British Virgin Islands. So worth it.

We loved snorkeling at Coki Beach on St Thomas but it's a busy beach. The cruise people seem to like that beach.

We stayed at Secret Harbour Resort on the east end of St Thomas and the beach and off shore snorkeling were both excellent. You can go there as a non-guest but remember to bring towels and something to sit on. The chairs are for guests only. They have a nice restaurant with good food there.

The shopping is very good for liquor, watches and jewelry. This trip my husband treated me to a Caribbean hook bracelet that I have been wanting. We bought it on St John at Freebird's. She has very nice things and prices.
