Any tips on turning my 9'2 log?

thanks. i seem to dig my rails alot when i turn or just cant get it around.

  1. your back foot might need to be put back further when you turn and you gotta put a lot of weight into it.


  2. While making sure your back foot is on the tail, put lot's of weight on that leg as you bend that knee and lean into the turn with your opposite shoulder.  It also helps to visualize where you want to be in two seconds.  

  3. turn with your back foot and make sure it is far back enough

  4. Move back a little more, or least shift your weight more.  You need to turn off your back foot.   Try picking up your heel or toe also on your front foot.  You're really just kind of guiding a longboard through a turn.

  5. Pressure the tail with your back foot and push your front foot where you want the board to go.
