  1. Make sure you know how to make complete proteins out of vegetable sources. Otherwise you'll end up with a nutritional deficiency.

  2. dont eat anything but veggies

  3. learn some recipes for vegan baked goods (or find some that you like at a health food store)

    eat beans

use things like hummus & guacamole to replace cheese in sandwiches

try indian food, a lot is vegan

be prepared to give up on cheese (as most vegan cheese is horrible)

try a new recipe every week, most food can be made vegan pretty easly

there are lots of great vegan mock meats to make the transition easier & amy's has a ton of really tasty vegan meals.

make sure to eat a balanced diet with tofu, legumes, nuts, whole grains, fruits, & vegetables.

you're first month or so you'll get cravings for old foods but they do go away.

    good luck :)

  5. just make sure ur ready for this cuz not only ur cutting on meat but also dairy products like milk or egg.

  6. I would just understand that you wouldn't be able to eat gelatin or honey. Gelatin is in alot that you wouln't think it would be. And honey can sweeten alot of things. Good luck!

  7. stop eating meat?

what kind of tips do u want?? its like saying any tips on stop smoking - well dont smoke...

  8. Have a friend, oh and have food you can eat.  It's seriously frustrating when there is nothing to eat and you are stuck with the same thing day after day.

  9. don't eat meat

  10. Simply be prepared to give up ALL dairy, which would include most desserts.  Look in the health food stores for dairy-free cake mixes, cookie mixes, etc.  There are non-dairy cheeses, some of which are pretty good actually, but that depends on what they are being used for.  Used on eggplant parmesan, the soy mozzarella is quite good actually.

  11. Try looking in cook books that are mostly about using vegetables, and of all avoid dairy, and especially meat
