Any tips please ?

Heyaa im 14 and in a few years time i would like to see my self being on tele e.g. on eastenders or something .. so does anyone no what subjects at school i will have to take for this? and what thing's i would have to do and where i would have to go? x

At your age you need to think about joining a local youth theatre, drama group or theatre workshop. I don't know where you live so I can't recommend any at the moment! Then you need to think about doing performing arts or drama at college - other subjects that may also be helpful include English Literature or music. If you want to get onto TV as an actress you really need to immerse yourself in it as soon as possible - school plays, extra work, anything.

There are lots of extras agencies available, however I think you will need your parents permission and a work permit. Very importantly, please BE CAREFUL! There are lots of exploitative people out there who would like to take advantage of your (and many other peoples) dream, so you must NEVER pay money to an agent for a promise of roles or just for registration (reputable agencies never charge fees upfront, they only take a cut of any earnings you make) and ALWAYS make sure you go through reputable agencies and channels, with your parents consent and guidance. The best guidance is, if it SEEMS too good to be true, then it almost certainly IS!

Hmmmm, well I would suggest taking drama and performing arts at school!

If you really want to be in soaps, you need to get an agent!

Try looking for a book callled CONTACTS. This has a list of every agent in the UK and every possible connection you need in show biz!!

I've heard the best agent at the moment is Elaine Murphy!

first of all you need to start getting some experience

take drama and audition for local plays

do this as much as you can to build up your resume

also take some drama classes outside of school if possible

then you need to try and get an agent to accept you

but dont ever pay the agent before you get a job

agents try you find you jobs

then if you get one you give your agent a certain percentage of whatever you make
