  1. It sounds silly but try and hold your breath through it, its an aerobic exercise so your muscles don't need oxygen to get through it.

Also when coming out of the blocks "chop your stride" which means just make it shorter, that will help you accelerate out of the blocks faster, as although the stride is shorter, you'll be moving them much faster as they have less ground to cover.

Once you are out of the blocks, stay low and 'driving' (running hard) for as long as possible, 30 meters is ideal, once you've naturally come up into the upright position, push your chest out and try and keep your arms right angled. Also try and drive your knee's foreward quite a lot, that will help you (but make sure they come up enough too). When I say push your chest out, thats good, but make sure your head doesn't come up too far, as this is REALLY bad, just keep it facing slightly down and you're running style will be far smoother. Good luck man, let us know how you get on!

  2. You would improve by runing on your toes and bring your knees up. Also, make sure that your arms are not crossing your body because that's just wasted motion. and also, keep your chin up.

Also, make sure you eat a banana before you're race- trust me, it really helps because of the natural sugars in the banana give you lots of energy :)

  3. When u first come out of the blocks keep your head down and stay low for the first 40 meters than lift your head up. The faster you pump your arms the faster you'll go and always keep your hands open because it makes your body less tight. Never look at the other runners while the race is going. And the most important thing is your start because your start could make it or break it for you.

  4. Run long distance.

It helps w/ indurance but that helps w/ speed.

when your on a run, run for 30 minutes or 3 miles

if you listen to music, the 1st song you listen to jog. the 2nd sprint and then keep repeding that.

    it helps really well.

  5. when you run the race, dont look at the ground. try to stay on your toes. pump your arms as fast as you can, and try to take as long of a stride as you can. good luck! :)

  6. firstly u can doing drills like high knee, extension, back running and strait leg.

    secondly u can doing acceleration 50m, 80m, 100m.

    thirdly u can doing work out 30m x 3 to go  3min rest each repetition 50m x 3 and one 90m.

    maximum workout for 100m 30m to 150m.

learn to protect injuries. doing exercise n stretch body for flexibility.

i know this is better work out for ur speed 100m .

  7. You should practice running with weights wrapped around your ankles. then when you go run it in a race without the weight you will go faster and feel like your floating. I'm not sure if this will work the next day but it's a future idea :)
