Any tips to get money fast on Animal Crossing:Wild World?

I need money fast to buy stuff for my house and pay my mortgages.And I have a golden shovel,is there anything special I can do with it?

sell diff kinds of fruit, sell old items, shake trees, shovel rocks, sell fossils bu t make sure they are identified first, they sell for the most. also do u hve ur wfc hooked up i would like to visit more towns

Well, one of the things I do to make money is fill my inventory with the bugs or fish I catch. Then I sell them to Nook. This, of course, works best if I caught rare bugs/fish. Night is a great time to look for bugs. In the summer, tarantulas and scorpions are out. They can be difficult to catch sometimes, because if they know you're there they'll charge at you and hurt you. But, if you can catch them, they're worth a lot compared to what a lot of the other bugs sell for.

If you have coconut trees, sometimes you can find huge beetles resting on them late at night (also in the summer), which sell for quite a bit too.

Collecting foreign fruit (fruit that you didn't start off with when you made your town) is a very easy way to make money. If you have Nintendo Wi-Fi, go to different towns and collect foreign fruit from the trees there, and bring them back to your town and sell them to Nook. Or, if the town you're visiting has a different fruit that they started off with (native fruit) than you, collect your own native fruit before you go and sell it at their town. Your native fruit will be worth five times as much in their town.

Collecting fossils is a great way to make money as well. A lot of fossils will sell for around 4,500 bells each. But remember to GET THEM IDENTIFIED BY BLATHERS AT THE MUSEUM BEFORE YOU SELL THEM. If you sell Nook unidentified fossils, the money he gives you won't be worth digging them up.

The Money Rock. Great way to earn quick money once each day. Go to each rock in your town, and dig three holes behind you (you are facing the rock). The holes must be dug in a straight line.

Make sure that you are standing directly in front, behind, or beside the rock, and that the holes are directly behind you. Now, using your control pad and buttons (not the stylus), hold the direction you are facing, and without letting go of the direction, hit the rock with the shovel. If it's the right rock, a money bag should pop out. There's a time limit, so the faster you do this the more money you'll get. The holes behind you will prevent you from being pushed back, so all you have to do is keep your finger on the direction and keep hitting the rock. Using the control pad and buttons instead of the stylus, or holding the direction instead of pressing it repeatedly, isn't necessary, but I found that it is the easiest way for me to do it.

1.) Personally, to pay off my mortgage, I got foreign fruit from other towns (Not the one you start with. The one you start with only sells for 100 bells, and all others sell for 500 bells) and arranged my trees into an orchard. Every few days, it grows back and will produce three more fruits. I usually make a little over 100,000 bells every time, but that depends on how many trees you plant. As for fossils, you should donate them to the museum, but if you get duplicates (like, ones you've already put in your museum), then sell those ones.

2.) The golden shovel, to me, really only serves the purpose of looking cool, but you can actually grow money trees with it. Find an area (or acre) that doesn't have a lot of trees. Pick one tree there, chop it down, dig up the stump, and plant 35,000 bells in it. (The more bells you plant, the higher chance it has of growing!) Every time that the tree get past the sprout stage, it will bear three bags of 30,000 bells, for grand total of 90,000 bells. Keep in mind, the money grows only once on each tree, and no matter how much you plant, it will always grow 90,000 bells. Pretty much, never plant more than 89,999 bells, or you'll lose money.
