Any tips to stop distractions when attempting to do homework/coursework?

I get distracted soooo easily, and I have got loads of holiday homework. I need some advice on how not to get distracted (not just "turn off the computer" cause I need it for the work).

Any help would be really good!

 This is a great article with some good ideas. I also recommend the program StopDistractions. It runs on Windows and blocks websites like Facebook and Twitter. You can set a timer and customize the list of blocked websites. Definitely worth a download!
