Any truth in feigned indifference making someone interested in you again?

From personal experience, absence does make the heart grow fonder. But if I want someone to care about me who I deeply care about would feigning indifference make them care or should I just make it clear how important they are to me? thanks!

  1. hey be truthful and honest and the universe will set things the way it ordains. just let fate decide

  2. It depends on the person what they respond to and what kind of relationship you have.

  3. It's better to be honest and tell them how you feel.  If you act indifferent and play games, it can have the opposite effect from what you want to accomplish and can make them turn away from you instead.

  4. Honesty is the best policy.

  5. it's a good question.  i just dont have a great answer.  but i will think about it.  ....a necessary absence is forgivable and understandable...but an absence to teach a lesson or to induce the heart to grow fonder?  that doesnt speak of trust and it smacks of punishment!  and for what reason?  that isnt love.  it's torture and cruel and may do the opposite of what you perceive as something useful.

if your girl loves you, and you love her as you say....why would purposefully hurt her?  ugh!

  6. If you have not already let them know how you feel then you need to.  If you have let them know and they seems not to care then the person could just not be interested in you.
