Any truth in the rumour that Tiger Woods no longer even enjoys golf?

Could that be a factor in his serial womanising, since he isn't taking any satisfaction from his golf?

That story has been put about by a US sports journalist, although the source for his information isn't  exactly clear. ESPN's Jason Sobel seems to think that the way Woods was behaving when he played last year - swearing, throwing clubs, a general air of hostility on the course - speak of a falling out of love of the game. He's been playing since he was two, it certainly wouldn't stretch credulity to suggest that he might have become a tad jaded, if just temporarily. But there are no outright facts to confirm the theory thus far. Maybe Woods is going to announce his retirement tomorrow? We doubt it, though.
