  1. An English farthing of year 1930 is worth about £25 in mint condition but will obviously be of less value the more worn the coin.  Check the final link below for more info.

    Yes, I remember the farthing still in circulation when I was a child.  It had the King's head on the front and a wren [bird] on the reverse side - bronze coin.

    NOTE FROM MYSELF - when I was a child in the 1940s the farthing was still in ciruclation but worth very little.  Strange thing is that quite often Victorian coins used to turn up in one's change.  I even had a Charles II penny once - worn very smooth but you could make out the King's name etc.
