  1. You cannot use Frontline on kittens under 8 weeks.

Dawn is too drying of their coats and only works as long as the kittens are still wet.  Get a flea comb and use it daily on the kittens until 8 weeks.  Getting mom and dad under control will help a lot.

  2. I just got rid of a bad flea problem, got to walmart, get RAID FLEA spray, go to the vet and get the pills that kill fleas in a couple of hours, in Canada it's called capstar, also advantage or I guess frontline and also worm medication, if they have one, they have the other and they will keep reinfecting. give them the pills, lock them in a room with a towel under the door so they wont breathe in the raid, SPRAY EVERYWHERE! you will not get rid of fleas if you don't sray your house, or you can get the flea bomb. go out for about 4-5 hours, air out the house, close off room where kitties are and do that room as for babies, flea combs work amazing, get as many as you can off, the rest will get on mom and dad, bite them and die

  3. Use the frontiline on adult cats and can also get a product from vets or sometimes pet stores called capstar which will kill all adult fleas on the mom and dad in a hour. then call vet to see what to do for the babies. Fleas can actually kill them by making them anemic. they suck the babies blood. They are to young to dip also. Be careful with anything you use around the house as you dont want the cats to get into it. Good luck

  4. Frontline cannot be used on kittens less than 6 weeks old, and that's only on weaned kittens, and under a vet's supervision.  Even 1 drop may be a lethal dose for a newborn, and besides - mom will ingest it when she bathes the kittens.  Flea treat mom as you have done.  Do not bathe the kittens in Dawn - put a few drops of it in a glass of warm water, and use a flea comb on the kittens, dipping the comb in the water from time to time.  Change the bedding daily, and wash it in hot water with bleach to kill the fleas and flea eggs in it.

And it wouldn't hurt to call the vet to make mamma a spay appointment for 8 weeks from the day the kittens were born.  Dad can be neutered now :o)

  5. If you have that one in the pic then you can use it on kittens. BUT ONLY ON 8 WEEKS OR OLDER. Put the Frontline on the mother and father and use a flea comb for the kittens. Garlic is poisonous to cats.

  6. I put garlic cloves in vegetable oil and let it set for a day or two so the garlic will infuse in the oil. Put a few drops in your cats food daily. For the kittens put a few drops in milk or sugar water and use a medicine dropper to feed it to them.
