  1. Sooo...

Edinburgh and Glasgow are the biggest cities.

Edinburgh is beautiful. Its older and the buildings are lovely. You've got Princes Street to walk and shop. Cockburn Street if you like a bit of punk.  And the Gardens for a romantic ice-cream.

Glasgow is lovely too.  Its newer and trendier.  More clubs, gigs, music scene there is huge.  Great shops to go to as well.

Then theres the smaller cities like Dundee.  Older again, but further from England.

If i were you, i would go to Edinburgh, because of its archetecture, gardens, and shops. But thats me:)

    Hope this helps:)

  2. Edinburgh is the best city in the UK really nice and you can take nice Highland tours there, people are more friendly than in Glasgow and the city is much prettier.

  3. I would either go to Edinburgh, which is a big city with lots to see and do, or go up north into the Highlands or to Isle of Skye. It depends on what exactly you have in mind. The Highlands and Skye have gorgeous scenery and are great for driving, hiking, and enjoying the view. No matter where you go in Scotland be sure to check out at least one of the nearby castles (because there are castles all over the place). Edinburgh castle is incredible but Eileen Donan, up north kind of on your way out to Skye, is said to be the most photographed castle in Scotland. It's very picturesque :)

  4. Depends where you live ! I think Edinburgh would be nicer although Glasgow is lovelly to. If your not accustomed to Glasgow i would'nt advise going there, we often speak to fast for forigeners and have a strognScottish accent. The Highlands are probably nicest for a romatice weekend.

  5. Maybe Inverness it's smaller than cities like Glasgow but still has quite alot to do,at that time you might even be able to go skiing in Avimore which is amazing
