  1. find your specific needs... where are you weak, there are drills for each... The best advice I can give to you is talk to a coach, make sure you are using correct form and just use repitition as your training device.

Serve 1000 times everyday if thats you're weakest skill

    Pass 1000 passes

    Set 1000 times

The most important things is focus on form... The girls I coach are given homework... To stand in front of a mirror and make sure they can recreate perfect form 20 times. And those who do so every day it shows in practice and games.

To ask for skill tips isn't specific to us as responders, ask for passing skill tips, or setting skill tips. I have hundreds of drills for skill improvement, but i'm not about to type hundreds of drills out. What do you want to improve most?

  2. What I do everyday for practice is:

    10 sets of 10 pushups

10 sets of 10 v-crunches (crunch + lifting up legs)

1000 jumps (of course one way you can train is like my friend's way; she can do three hours of non stop jump roping)

this is in the extreme, but its pretty much based on how you feel about your playing and how much you want to improve.

  3. "skill"? I assumed you are a frosh or JV level.

The best way is check out Volleyball DVD skill training in most public library. (trust these people, for most of them are prof. level trainer. And making sure the trainer was a college (not HS) volleyball athletes.

be patient! every learning is take time.

  4. What are you looking for serving, setting, bumping, spiking? You need to specify. There are tons of suggestions for all of these!
