    Privately owned gardening centers

    Day Care Centers

Mow a lawn for an elderly neighbor

  2. There many places 13-year-old can volunteer.

In New York City, MTA offers high school volunteer for teenagers.

    Parks & Recreation

    Museums

    Points of Attraction

    Amusement Park

    Day Care Center

    Summer Camp

Deli (I have seen many teen helping at grocery deli)

  3. Library work is alot of fun...Im 14 and I do alot of work there. Theres stuff anywhere from shelving to discarding (ripping up books) to reading to kids and manning the desk. Hope this helps

  4. Check out your local zoo - many have junior zoo-keeper programs; some vets will accept volunteers; if you are in the northwest (Seattle area), there is a King County native plant preservation opportunity; nursing homes; volunteer to mentor younger kids; not sure minimum age for Habitat For Humanity; food banks.

Really, there must be so many more.  Google it!

  5. You could help at a senior center home or try to find an animal shelter that needs help. Im sure if you look around there are plenty of opportunities.

  6. look up peddels for progress
