  1. No one with an ounce of sense would want to be cabin crew on any North American airline     or    on most other airlines as well.

The job never was what it was once believed to be and these days the pay and working conditions are terrible.

But if you want to live out of a  suite case in an aluminum tube, go for it.

  2. I don't agree with the first answer at all.  I am a flight attendant with Continental, and wouldn't change it for the world.  First of all; flight attendants get roughly 15 days off every month.  I would hardly call that living out of a suitcase in an aluminum tube...The pay could be better, but the benefits are definitely worth the lower pay.

Unfortunately, every airline in the United States has put a hiring freeze in effect for cabin crews.  With fuel prices skyrocketing, airlines are having to scale back in other places.  My suggestion to anybody who is looking to get on quick is to start looking overseas.  I know Emirates is hiring like crazy right now.  Otherwise you will just have to stick it out and just be patient.  I had a friend who got a job offer from United Airlines.  His class start date was March 30.  He packed all of his bags, and took his flight out to Chicago only to find out that his class had been put on an indefinite hold.  Talk about being crushed...I feel for him.  Good luck to everybody.

  3. Yes, I would like to work as a cabin crew in an International Airline,  not matter which one as long is a good one. It got to be a good chance to be in other countries even for few hours, besides maybe Airline companies give good discounts for their workers to travel.
