Instead of calling over 20 companies and getting hanged up, would emailing them work? I know it goes to their spam box but does that depend on how well you title your message?

  1. Either way, people will hate you.

  2. It sounds to me like you shouldn't be doing either one.

I've had my fair share of telemarketing and appointment setting jobs;  I'm good at it and I still find it hard to do.  Its not for everyone.

One piece of advise;  you have to make about 100 calls to get any kind of response.   Telemarketing is a game of numbers.

  3. No.  Telemarketing is, by definition, making calls.

  4. I gather that you are looking for ways to sell without phone calling people.

  5. You would not be "tele"marketing, if you are using an email. Overall emails are the easiest to ignore, actual communication works better thats why people do it.

    In fact, do both.

  6. Further to Ryan's answer, emails are especially ignorable in this era of crazy computer viruses and justifiable paranoia over opening non-personal or non-business-related messages.
