I have a Motorola Sliver L7 that fell out of my purse the other day. I have dropped it before with no problem, but this time knocked something around inside and the phone will not read my SIM card. I bought an inexpensive pay as you go phone to use for a few days and my SIM works fine in this one, so it is not the card.
I don't want to get a new phone by renewing my contract (because I am displeased with the service quality). I don't want to go spend tons more money on another phone without a contract. I want my old phone to work again, and I have no clue how to even begin trying to repair it! Any suggestions?
